Dr Polly Branney

 

 

 

 

Adhd Centre Brighton's Dr Polly Branney has a special interest in the field of ADHD/Autism. She has developed a program of training for doctors to help them recognise ADHD and autism in their patients. She also assists local GPs to diagnose of ADHD and organizes study days for school SENCOs.

 

 

 

 

Her experiences in neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroscience and psychiatry has given her an abundance of expertise and experience in ADHD and Autism. She is an active member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from St George's University of London.

 

 

 

 

In her capacity as an expert consultant she is responsible for the revision of the NICE guidelines for diagnosing and treating ADHD. She is also the director of the executive board for the UK ADHD Partnership.

This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with adults suffering from ADHD and help them to make informed choices about their medication.

 

 

 

 

Mandy is in charge of the autism team, which includes nurses in addition to her job as ADHD Clinical Lead Nurse. These nurses support children who are diagnosed with ADHD and conduct tests.

Dr Shahnaz Hassan is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She graduated from the University of London and has received further training in psychopharmacology and lifestyle psychotherapy. In her role as Senior Practitioner, she is responsible to support patients and their families.

 

 

 

 

Dr Anna Graham is a consultant in child psychiatrist. She has extensive experience in treating children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and behavioural issues. Her specialties in clinical medicine include Autism and ADHD. She has undertaken training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Dialectical Behavior Intervention for Autism (DiVA).

 

 

 

 

Dr Anastasios Galanopoulos who is a consultant psychiatrist in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, is also a psychiatrist. He is also an honorary researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry. He is a clinical leader for the 3Brough Adult ADHD/ASD service and is a specialist in ADHD and autism.

 

 

 

 

Dr Cara Langford Watts

 

 

 

 

Dr Cara Langford Watts, Adhd center Brighton has a wide range of experience working with clients, including students with ADHD and other mental health issues. She is also a member the European Coaching and Mentoring Council. She was previously an assistant psychologist at CAMHS where she was a specialist in neurodevelopmental disorders.

 

 

 

 

Cara is also a certified clinical psychologist. However, she has several management positions. She is a mentor for autism specialists at Oxford Brookes University. She is also a member the UK ADHD Partnership Executive Board.

 

 

 

 

Cara is also a fan of working with children with autism. After graduating from University of Kent, she has completed a masters degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Her research has been focused on the effects of COVID-19 for children suffering from ASD.

 

 

 

 

Cara is a member both of the British Psychological Society and European Coaching and Mentoring Council. She has held several management posts, including Assistant Director of Mental Health Services at Brighton and Hove NHS Trust, a specialist autism mentor at the University of Oxford and a forensic pathway.
